\u201cLittle Frida\u201d is a gentle emotion-filled story inspired by the childhood of the Mexican painter and one of the most significant and fascinating figures of the 20th century Frida Kahlo, who contracted polio at the age of six and at a very early age experienced what it means to be different. The story brought to the stage by this performance aims on the one hand, to spark our imagination and immerse us in the vivid colors and atmosphere of \u201cCasa Azul\u201d the authentic family home of the Kahlo family from the early 20th century and on the other hand to tell in an accessible way a story about diversity, courage, will, and perseverance.<\/p>\r\n
The text by Croatian dramaturg Jelena Kova\u010di\u0107 was first performed in 2021 at the \u201c\u017dar ptica\u201d City Theatre, directed by Anica Tomi\u0107.
