Little Theatre “Duško Radović” celebrated its 76th birthday on October 23, marking the day in 1949 when the theatre’s very first performance was staged!
As every year, the celebration was an opportunity to present the annual and jubilee awards — a recognition of artistic achievements, professional excellence, and long-term dedication to the theatre.
The productions that premiered between October 10, 2024, and October 10, 2025, were considered for this year’s annual awards: “The Adventures of Singi Lumba”, “Tesla” and “Treasure Island.”
The jury, consisting of Diana Kržanić Tepavac (chair), Tijana Grumić (member), and Jelena Ćuruvija Đurica (member), made the following decisions:
Božidar Valtrović Award for Contribution to the Artistic Sector
Nenad Radović
In this season, Nenad Radović took part in all three theatre productions, leaving a strong mark on each project. His continuous commitment, professionalism, and dedication set an example for the entire artistic ensemble.
Marija Kulundžić Award for Acting
Nenad Radović for his roles in all three productions in competition.
Through his inquisitive approach and creative courage, Radović shaped three completely different stage characters, demonstrating the range of his acting expression and strong artistic curiosity.
Marijana Vićentijević Badovinac for the role of Grandma Hawkins in “Treasure Island.”
With precision, humor, and warmth, she brought to life a character that resonates with both children and adults. This award acknowledges her long-standing dedication and contribution to the ensemble of the theatre.
Marija Kulundžić Award for Total Design of a Production

As composer and performer, he created a soundscape that permeates the entire production, making music an equal dramatic element of the performance.
Marija Kulundžić Award for Original Play for Children and Youth

With humor and thoughtfulness, the author portrayed the childhood and creative journey of one of the world’s greatest scientists, while opening important questions about knowledge, growing up, and equality.
