In celebration of  World Autism Awareness Day the concert “The Gift of Diversity” will be held on Thursday April 2 at 7 PM at the Little Theatre “Duško Radović”. The concert celebrates music as a space of equality, collaboration and creative freedom. Admission is free, with mandatory registration via the form.

The inclusive artistic project “The Gift of Diversity” was implemented with the support of the Regional Youth Cooperation Office (RYCO) and led by the Music-Opera-Theatre Organisation MOTO in cooperation with the organisation AkustikUm from Bosnia and Herzegovina, as an example of innovative inclusive artistic practice and cross-border collaboration.

The project was created with the idea that music can be a space for meeting, understanding and genuine dialogue without barriers. During several months of work, young people with autism and other developmental difficulties, together with their peers without developmental challenges, participated in artistic workshops, joint rehearsals and creative sessions. Through the process of collaborative creation, they developed musical skills, empathy, self-confidence, team spirit and new friendships.
