At the recently concluded 33rd Kotor Festival of Children’s Theatre, the play “In the Ceiling the Stars Are Shining” by the Little Theatre “Duško Radović”  won four awards:

• First Prize of the City of Kotor Jury
• Award for Acting Performance – Mina Nenadović
• Award for Directing – Damjan Kecojević
• Award for Best Production Overall – In the Ceiling the Stars Are Shining

The play is based on the text by Norwegian author Juhana Tidel, adapted and dramatized by Tijana Grumić, with direction by Damjan Kecojević. At the heart of this touching and poetic story is the theme of childhood facing loss. The creative team has succeeded in crafting a work that powerfully communicates with both young audiences and adults through its characters, movement, and visual metaphor.

Exceptional praise was also given to all collaborators, who reached both the audience and jury with an authentic, thoughtful, and delicate artistic expression. These awards represent significant recognition of the ongoing artistic work of the Little Theatre “Duško Radović”  in the field of engaged contemporary theatre.
